Jenison/Zeeland hockey pulled out two wins this weekend versus teams from the east side of the state.
Friday night Jenison mercied Port Huron United 8-0.
With Brett Batten in goal, Jenison/Zeeland scored 2 in the first, 2 in the second, and 4 in the third. The first goal of the night was by someone we were all happy to see on the ice – Hunter Schrauger – Xander Hall had the assist.
Next was captain Clayton Boerigter with assists from Jackson Terpstra and Hunter Schrauger.
In the second period, not only was Brett Batten in goal, but he also had an assist, along with Anthony Mollica on a goal by Jackson Bolthouse.
Two defensemen paired up for the next goal by Jack Williams – the assist from Trenton Cleveland.
In the third period Jackson Bolthouse put two more goals in for a hat trick.  He had an assist from Nick Rathsack and two assists – one on each goal – from Anthony Mollica.
Anthony Mollica had his own scoring in the third as well.  He had two with assist by Rathsack and Noah Sheldon for a total of 5 points in the game.

Cade Elliott was in goal on Saturday afternoon versus L’anse Creuse.
The night belonged to Noah Sheldon who scored four even strength goals in the contest.
All four of his goals came with assist from Jackson Bolthouse.
Nick Rathsack and Troy Goforth had assists on two of the goals.
Captain Clayton Boerigter also had a goal with an assist by Mike Puruleski.
