Multiple Teams · Chix Football Tailgate Details for Week #3 (Sept 7th)….

Good afternoon CHIX Parents & Fans,

It’s hard to believe we are preparing for week #3 football game (time is flying).

The attendance last week for our Annual Pig Out Event was over the top as over 200 people came out to support our CHIX & helped ignite our team. GO CHIX!

We are excited to see such a positive response and support for our TEAM this year, let’s keep it going!

This week we are AWAY at Hudsonville.

Here are the instructions and details for the evening…..

  • We will set up our tents near the VISITOR entrance starting at approximately 5:20pm, look for our yellow CHIX tent.
  • This week we plan to serve JET’s Pizza and will ask for everyone to contribute small donation towards deferring some of the expense.
  • We will start serving food around 5:30pm.
  • What to bring: salad / dish (or) sweets…
  • Stop by just to connect for a few minutes or kickback for a while (as a Chix fan you are always welcome no matter how long or short you stay).
  • We will start to tear down by around 6:30pm.

Let’s keep the momentum going again this week…

Note: There have been recent individual player and team voting polls occurring weekly on several of the local sports websites. We are going to try and provide everyone notice when they occur so we can all vote and support our team / players – stay tune…

Congratulations to our very own Spencer Viening for being voted MVP player (Week #1) by WZZM-13 and was featured with 11 other ZE players last Thursday night on their live Football Sidelines Show… http://www.usatodayhss.com/grandrapids/

GO CHIX!

The following is an exerpt copied directly from the MLive.com website

Steve Kaminski | skaminsk@mlive.com, August 31, 2012 11:59 a.m.

Warned you it wasn’t going to be easy.

MLive.com is giving its readers five tough games to choose from when it comes to the West Michigan Football Game of the Week 3 on Sept. 7.

*Undefeated Kenowa Hills is hosting defending OK White Conference champion Grand Rapids Christian.

*Grand Haven is on its way to Lowell to participate in Lowell’s annual Pink Arrow Pride Game for the first meeting between the two teams.

*Muskegon will play at Rockford, and you know what type of program these two schools have.

*One team’s 0 will go when 2-0 Wyoming visits undefeated Allendale.

*Zeeland East has scored 64 and 60 points in its first two games. Can Hudsonville slow them down?

The good thing is that you can vote once per hour, so if you change your mind, come back and vote again.

MLive.com’s Pete Wallner and Steve Kaminski will cover the game that has the most votes when the poll closes 6 p.m. Tuesday, providing a live chat, game coverage, as well as features. Look for an MLive.com photo gallery to be posted a couple of hours after the game, too.

Where will you send them for Week 3?
