Zeeland Boys Bowling rolls over Unity Christian

Zeeland Boys go to 2-0 with win over Unity Christian.  They beat them by a score of 25-5.  They started out by winning both baker games 221-177 and 190-143.  Brandon DeJonge set a new school record with his two game series of 510, his games were 267 and 243.  Another high game was Kevin Schoenborn

Zeeland Girls Bowling lost to Unity Christian

Zeeland Girls lost to Unity Christian 6-24.  They started out by splitting the baker games 133-169 and 174-145.  High games for the girls were Karie Goebel 189 and Kylee Fredricks 166.

Zeeland Boys Swimming & Diving Team

Zeeland hosted a trimeet with Grand Rapids Christian and Grand Haven on January 10, 2012.  Zeeland swam to double victory with scores of Zeeland 138 and Grand Haven 48 and Zeeland 111 and Grand Rapids Christian 75.  Zeeland’s 200 Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay met the Division 1 State Qualifying Times.  Senior Jonah Heemstra

Zeeland Girls Bowling lost to Byron Center

Zeeland Girls Bowlilng lost to Byron Center 14 to 16.  Zeeland split the baker games 156-168 and 156-151.  High games for the girls were Kylee Fredricks 222, KaCee Costello 173 and Karie Goebel 169.

Zeeland bowler Nick Walker just misses perfection!

     Zeeland boys bowling were home against Byron Center when Freshman Nick Walker bowled a 299 game.  Zeeland won the match 22.5 to 7.5.  Zeeland started out by winning both baker games 225-206 and 223-176.  Some other high games for the match were Brandon DeJonge 243 and 224, Kevin Schoenborn 224 and Mark Calcut

Zeeland Boys Swimming & Diving Team

On Saturday, January 7, 2012, the Zeeland Swimming and Diving Team traveled to Plymouth Salem High School to participate in the six team competitive Rock Kilgore Invitational.  Ann Arbor Pioneer won the meet with 298 points, Northville was second with 241 points, and Zeeland finished third with 222 points.  Christian Otteman posted a  Division 1

Boys Bowling take 2nd at Pre-Conference Tournament

The boys had a strong showing at the Pre-Conference Tournament this past Saturday.  Some great scores were Brandon DeJonge 261 game / 645 series, Kevin Schoenborn 218 game / 617 series, Spencer Mohr 233 game / 617 series and Nick Walker 242 game.
